Street Radiance (2016): The intersection of Bay and Fron’t Street in Toronto is extremely busy during the workweek as many commuters make their way from the trains station to the office towers. In the late afternoon the reverse happens. This image was made during the afternoon rush for the train home. I made this image into the sun hoping to get an interesting beam of light over the intersection rush. I also loved the shadows from the movement of people. As I made this image a lady just walked into the frame with a wonderful smile directed my way. This smile and her gesture made the image special. It gave me a sense of joy either from the bright sunlight or the joy of the end of the day.
