Can't Catch a Break, Toronto, 2016

Can’t Catch a Break (July 2016) Lunchtime can also be a great time to catch people going about their business in the financial district. I photographed this man lying on the stone bench displaying many gestures of tiredness and even frustration, yet this image is the one that moved me the most, because it appears that his boss is about to confront him. In reality the walking man went right past him. It is his look of disgust on his face that gives this powerful assumption. The gesture of the lying man is just pure gold and one of those lucky finds.
