Viamede Forest

Early spring forests are interesting because of their subtitle beauty before the leaves burst forth. Combine this muted colour with a wet day and the hues and tones stand out. Last years beech leaves, which always hold on through the winters add some brown earth tones to an otherwise dark brown bark. Also there is some gray lichen on the barks of the trees. A photograph like this has to have time spent looking to understand its true natural beauty.
