Can't Catch a Break, Toronto, 2016

Lunchtime can also be a great time to catch people going about their business in the financial district. I photographed this man lying on the stone bench showing tiredness and even frustration. What caught my interest is the man walking towards him who appears to be his boss and appears to be confronting him. In reality the man walked right past him and had just given him a strange glance. It is his look of disgust and sternness on his face that gives this image a powerful assumption. The gesture of the lying man is just pure gold and one of those lucky finds when constantly walking the streets.
